The Cricket Clubs of Christchurch A History by Tom Kelly

I acquired this information at
http://www.morebooksforsale.blogspot.com/

"Signed softcover book reads "Best Wishes Tom Kelly" on immediate title page.

This little gem of local sporting history is sought-after and a bit difficult to get hold of.

The contents include An appraisal of local cricket, reminisces and anecdotes and chapters on each of  the following: Mudeford Cricket Club; Culmore and De Zoete Cups; Highcliffe
Cricket Club; Club and County; Bransgore Cricket Club; West Hants Water CO.Cricket Club; Somerford Clubs; Christchurch Cricket Club; The Hurn Clubs; Christchurch Sporting Club. As well as authoritative text, there is a good selection of photographs and diagrams to compliment this, and for anyone interrested in the local history aspect, the pages are interspersed with contemporary ads of local firms etc. I see no date (there is no apparent  publishing/printing info) but I am guessing early 1980s.

It would seem this book is self-published. It is unpaginated, though probably between 160 to 200 pages. The binding is a little skew-wiff, very very minor, but wise to let you know. The card covers/wraps are a little larger than the textblock, so this has taken a little curling and soft creasing to edges. Overall condition with stated is VERY GOOD."

Like most of our shopping habits these days, rather than spend the time trawling around bookshops and wasting valuable time,  you will buy this book over the internet.Right now,  most people now have a website with books for sale, or sell their books via ebay or Amazon. Both these 'venues' are well established, however there is fee structure which has the effect of pushing prices up - i.e. the sellers have to recover their listing fees. For some internet buyers, the fact that there is an alternative to ebay and amazon is beginning to  click. Right now  you are likely to  pay less at ebid  as the seller doesn't need to load the cost of post and packing to recover any listing fees or final value fees So by now  you are wondering where to  buy this book on ebid. Now  I can direct you to the right link
ebid link one This is where you can buy the book
